Meet The Team
Dr Jono Dalla Pria
Dr Jono graduated his 5 year Bachelors of Science (Chiropractic)/Bachelor of Chiropractic degree from Murdoch University. He is a current member of Sports Chiropractic Australia, Chiropractors Association of Australia (CAA) and registered with the Australian Health Practioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
"I have always been interested in the human body, its strength and the way it was able to overcome injury. At age 14 I started strength training and experienced my first Chiropractic adjustment. It was at this time I knew I wanted to be a Chiropractor and study the human body's strength. During high school I was told my grades and my difficulty with chemistry would stop me from being accepted to University and I was advised to enroll into and completed a business qualification. During this time I had to overcome significant illness and it made me evaluate my career path. From here my passion for the human body lead me into a Sports Science degree and I jumped at the opportunity to study in Canada.
While Sports Science was great at providing me with fundamentals and good grades I knew my passion was still in Chiropractic. After speaking with a mentor of mine it renewed my determination to have a career that I was passionate about so I applied for and was accepted into Chiropractic."
As well as being a Chiropractor, Dr Jono is a qualified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor teaching Body Combat 2-3 times a week. Outside of Chiropractic he has an interest in mixed martial arts, Crossfit and the way in which these sports require strength, flexibility and body control. His spare time is spent doing sport and fitness training.
Continuing education is important to him and staying up to date with current research allows him to apply the most current evidence based care to his patients. He is currently completing a 2 year post graduate Sports Chiropractic qualification to be a Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (ICCSP) which will allow him to provide Chiropractic care at sporting events worldwide.
