WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?

Chiropractic is about diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions especially those of the spine with a drug free approach . Chiropractic care utilizes a manipulative technique called an "adjustment" applied by a Chiropractor's hands or a small tool known as an activator. An adjustment is a high velocity low amplitude force applied to a joint that is not functioning at it's biomechanical best. As we all know the body is made up of bones, joints, muscles, nerves and organs and all of these are connected so the Chiropractic care consists of differing techniques to provide the best care. Other musculoskeletal techniques performed by your Chiropractor can be trigger point therapy and myofascial release techniques. We offer nutritional advice as well as take home advice such as home stretches and exercises so that you can continue building your best body and staying healthy.

Chiropractic care is for almost anyone. Chiropractic care can be tailored and adapted for each individual depending on your age, size, results from initial assessment and of course your own preferences. There is a wide range of options available such as adjustments or manipulations, gentle mobilizations, trigger point therapy and myofascial release techniques.
