As part of our dedication to excellence, we utilize the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) in our practice.

The Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is a tool used to evaluate movement patterns and identify any limitations, imbalances, or asymmetries in the body. By assessing fundamental movement patterns, we can identify areas of dysfunction and develop targeted treatment plans to improve mobility, stability, and overall functional performance.

The Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) is a more in-depth evaluation that analyzes movement patterns specific to each individual. It helps us assess how different body segments work together and identify any underlying dysfunctions that may contribute to pain, reduced performance, or increased risk of injury. The SFMA allows us to develop highly personalized treatment strategies to address the root causes of these issues and restore optimal function.

By incorporating the FMS and SFMA into our clinic, we can gain a comprehensive understanding of our patients' movement patterns, identify areas of concern, and tailor treatment plans to meet their unique needs. This approach not only helps relieve pain and discomfort but also promotes long-term health, improved performance, and injury prevention.
